Claverdon School Disco
We require volunteers to fulfill various roles for both the KS1 Disco and KS2 Disco. Please let us know which disco you would like to help with and we will be in touch soon to allocate volunteer roles for the evening.
Gift Shops
In the weeks running up to the gift shops, we need volunteers to help wrap the gifts purchased (wrapping paper provided). You can take presents home to wrap at your leisure or get together with friends for a wrapping session! We also need helpers on the morning of the gift shop to support the children in choosing their gifts and managing their money.
Operation Snowflake
Shhh... don't tell the children, but each year parent-elves work their Christmas magic! For those who are new to the school, Operation Snowflake has become a much-loved tradition where parents volunteer to transform the school into a winter wonderland whilst the children are at home. The delight on their faces when they arrive to find their school completely transformed is truly something special. The transformation usually takes place one afternoon on the last weekend in November.
School library
In 2023 Friends of Claverdon undertook a project to refurbish the school library into a cosy, inspiring place for our young readers. We are looking for a team of people to get involved in the library on an ongoing basis to keep the space looking good, well organised and interactive for the children. Please let us know if you can dedicate any time to this project.
