Sunday Teas at Wren Hall

Sunday 10th May @ Wren Hall, Wroxall

Friends of Claverdon has an exciting opportunity to raise funds for our school by running a Wren Tea at Wren Hall on Sunday 10th May, and we need your help to make it a success!

For those unfamiliar with Wren Teas, they're a beloved local tradition where charities serve homemade cakes and tea to visitors at the beautiful Wren Hall in Wroxall between 2pm and 5pm. The hall is set with pretty blue checked tablecloths and fresh flowers, creating a wonderful atmosphere for the community to gather and enjoy afternoon tea whilst supporting a good cause.

To make our tea a success, we need approximately 25 homemade cakes (shop-bought won't do—homemade is essential!) and 10 volunteers to help on the day with tasks including taking payments, serving tea and cake, working in the kitchen, and clearing tables. It's a fun and sociable way to spend a few hours whilst raising valuable funds for our school.

If you can bake a cake or spare a few hours on Sunday 10th May, please sign up below. Every contribution makes a difference, and we'd love to see as many of our school community involved as possible.

Note: All portions of cake served should be generous. As a guide, Wren Hall estimate a 2-layer sponge made with 4 eggs should be divided into 8 slices and a cake made with 3 eggs should be divided into 6 slices.
