Welcome back to another year at Claverdon Primary School!

Hello everyone!  Welcome back, and a big welcome to our new reception parents too!  

We'd like to start the term with a big thank you to our whole school community. Last year, thanks to everyone’s hard work we raised a whopping £7,895 for school! For a reminder of how we did it – check out the newsletter from the summer term.

Planning the year ahead...

We already have a few dates in the diary for this term and are looking forward to all this year will bring. With this in mind we'd like to invite you all to a brainstorming meeting for the new year on Monday 23rd September, 7.30pm @ The Durham Ox. This is a perfect chance to share your opinions, feedback and ideas so please do come along. See you there!

Sign-up for the Claverdon Fun Run 2024! We're only 3 weeks away from the Friends of Claverdon inaugural Fun Run but there's still time to get involved. Inspired by all the Olympic and Paralympic activity on our screens this summer, we can’t wait to see our own runners in the village! With 3 events to choose from there is a distance to suit everyone. 

We are now making final arrangements so it would be really helpful if you are planning to book tickets if you could order ASAP so we know how many to expect!  We're also still looking for volunteers – if you can help in any way, please do let us know either via the form on the Fun Run webpage or email pta-claverdonschool@outlook.com. A huge thank you to our sponsors – this event would not be possible to run without them.  If you live in the village, do encourage your neighbours to come out and cheer the children on!
